How VANTARA 3D works
VANTARA 3D brings your entire 3D printing workflow into one intelligent workspace — from importing a model and configuring materials to slicing, generating G-code and sending the finished job to your printer.

Read about printStart with the model you want to print. VANTARA gives you a streamlined workspace for bringing your 3D model into the printing workflow and preparing it for the next stage. STL and 3MF files are supported, and multi-part 3MF assemblies keep their part names and their positions relative to each other on the build plate.
Set up your print before slicing. Configure materials, filament choices, print quality and the settings that determine how your model will be produced — layer height, perimeters, infill, speeds, supports, brim and skirt.
With supported AMS workflows, multiple materials or colours can be assigned to your model before slicing.
VANTARA converts your configured 3D model into printer-ready G-code, turning your design into the precise instructions your printer needs to produce each layer. Slicing is the point where a shape becomes machine instructions: every perimeter, infill move and filament change is written out in order, and you can step through the sliced preview layer by layer before you commit.
Once your model has been sliced, send the generated job to a connected compatible printer. VANTARA supports local and remote printing workflows, allowing you to move from prepared model to physical print without leaving the platform. Connection methods vary between machines, so available options depend on your printer.

Send jobs to your connected printer through VANTARA when you're away from the printer.
VANTARA connects your digital workflow to your physical printer, allowing supported printers to receive print jobs remotely through the VANTARA platform.

Monitor progress
Once a printer is connected, VANTARA can bring printer status and print progress into the same workflow, reducing the need to move between separate tools. Where your printer provides it, the printer status page shows printer state, nozzle and bed temperatures, job progress and elapsed time, job information such as the file being printed, a timeline of layers and filament changes, and a camera view.
For supported AMS setups, VANTARA makes it easier to work with multiple filaments and colours as part of the same preparation and printing workflow. Lanes can be given a material and colour, assigned per object, and switched at a chosen height.

VANTARA is designed to reduce the friction between having an idea and turning it into a physical object. Everything from preparation and slicing to printer connectivity and remote printing is brought together in one streamlined workspace.
VANTARA Free gives you the core tools to prepare and print. When you want unlimited remote printing and multiple connected printers, VANTARA Pro takes things further at £4.99 per month.
